AlienVault Managed Services

Many of our clients do not have the resources or bandwidth to manage their AlienVault products themselves. Once given appropriate VPN access and AlienVault credentials you can turn your system over to us to manage.

To accommodate our varying customers’ sizes, needs and budgets we offer three tiers to this service: Silver, Gold and Platinum. For all three of the tiers our team of engineers will provide the following:

Alarm Review and Research:
  • Evaluation of alarms for validity
  • Tuning out of False Alarms
  • 24×7 Escalation of Critical alarms
Communication on System Status:
  • Prioritization of Follow up Actions
  • Items requiring further research will be identified to appropriate personnel via email
  • Critical Items will be escalated via phone
  • Recommendations on resolutions to critical alarms
HealthCheck Service:
  • All of AlienVault system components are checked for proper functioning every 15 minutes
  • Ensure that all active data source plugins are functioning properly
  • Check for devices that are no longer sending logs
  • Review device list to make sure events are being received from critical devices
  • Check system resources to ensure they are adequate for the volume of data being received
  • Upgrade the system to the latest release
For our Gold and Platinum Tiers we include:
Weekly Status Call:
  • RedSole facilitated one-hour status meeting with appropriate personnel
  • Review of alarms as well as customer’s security posture and exposure
For our Platinum Tier we also include:
Enhanced Support Services:
  • Communication with AlienVault personnel regarding tickets, issues and requested enhancements
Audit and Compliance Support:
  • Reporting and Presentment of Data for Executive Meetings
  • Information collection and reporting for security audits
